C.A.R.E. Unit

The C.A.R.E. Unit assists family members and loved ones of individuals incarcerated at OCDC.

CARE Unit staff respond to inquiries from families and friends about facility rules and policies, provide assistance and referrals, and may conduct proactive outreach to families.

  • Provides step-by-step instructions on facility resources.
  • Supports questions about medical needs, rights, privileges, commissary, hygiene, grievances, bonds, visitation, programming, chaplain services, release resources, and more.
